I recommend listening to this loud…possibly disturbing the peace loud!!! And if you hate your job, play it on your way home from work or any stressful situation it will get you re-energized and in a good fucking mood.

Provocative! Sensuous! Sexy!  but….Seems to be crying out for relief…some type of understanding. What could it be…what does this artist want me to feel? I seem lost and confused at time, but great sadness. Once again…as usually, I always put way too much thought into what I’m listening to or could it be the lack of sleep since its 4:00am.  

My excitement and enthusiasm for ambient/noise has become like an addiction, stepping inside the mind and soul of the artist and allowing myself the ability to experience this trance like state is amazing. Ambient/noise albums have an extraordinary capacity to reflect the environment in which they’re made, making them intimate and seductive. I love it!!!

I enjoyed this album and hope other listeners will too.  I recommend listening to this album late at night in a completely dark room alone.

Hailing from the land of high cholesterol and borderline plaque lined arteries, (yes, of course I’m reading an article on myocardial infarction…lol), where was I, yes… Nestled in a plush bed, tweaking on Twinkies and HoHo’s, I’m certain that we would find ek rubbing Dorito cheese all over himself (I’ll spare you the details of what we may find in the folds of skin, but rest assured it smells divine), but here he sits, well maybe propped up with some 2 by 4’s, my love elephantknuckle… haha that makes me gag.

Seriously has anyone seen this guy…my point exactly!

elephantknuckle - FAT: The Worst Of... Specially formulated by your satire master, delivering political and social commentary in the guise of insane rants and grinding beats, and there’s nothing petite about this ek album. This album is jam-packed with what ek is known for, FAT FUN, and of course it never falls short on fucking with your memories, emotions, maybe even some silent mind conditioning, and all sorts of other mental flotsam tainted with every new experience you gain…lol.

In addition to all this, your expectations are going to be powerfully influenced by the bands that remixed and covered the ek tunes… this list includes BLOODINGTON, Blasphemation, PiGSHiT, Vulgar Disease, Norwood Grimes, Azkeel Vampyr and Stirner… they were fucking awesome.

My favorite tracks on this album are Fat Chicks and El Caminos (Elevator Lounge Mix), I loved the intro Robots appreciate insanity, she only uses the dull razor, Simplicity in Murder, Stirner - Natural Expulsion of Parasitism Homo Sapiens (STIRNER DemixXx 2011 AB), BLOODINGTON - MAKE TORMENT FUN AGAIN (BLOODINGTON REMIX) Norwood Grimes - Children of Ouija, basically the whole fucking album and the bonus disc.

I ended up listening to this album in a bubble bath with a glass of cheap wine, I even add a few candles…try it. Add a friend if you like. The more the merrier. Just make sure to order the king size tub and multiple boxes of wine.

I’m always thrilled and excited to see new collaborations from the Torn Flesh Records family member’s and as you can see, Blasphemation,& Gore Obsessed bring us Gore Blast, this is a unique and one fucking powerful team. Of course by unique I mean you won’t find a carbon copy of someone else's style here-it’s indeed a one of a kind superior album!

I’m going to go off subject for a moment to comment on the hotness factor of Eric and Justin. I personally got to meet the man behind Blasphemation and ladies he’s a super hot sexy man at 6’1 and a gentleman, hit him up with friend requests he loves to talk to the ladies. Awww…and let me get to, as I like to call him Mr. Justin (we keep it formal)…I wish I could meet this sexy 6’1 man. I loves me a redhead and a white man…yummy!!! Okay…ummmm sorry about that…let me get back to the music…haha  

The superior quality with utmost attention to detail, results in producing an album that their fans demand…and is of course immediately evident in this extremely brutal, harsh, very intense and fun, but structure perfectly, with all the components working well together. I love how distorted and deep the guitar riffs are and the very intense vocals that Eric and Justin are known for, are persistent throughout this album, it even manages to contain the humorous samples we the fans love, giving it strong personality.

Even with the thousands of downloads this power duo has received from all their other albums, there is one thing you can count on from Blasphemation and Gore Obsessed, is that they love their fans from around the world. So stop by and say hi.

Looking through TFR catalog for a new album to review, I came across TFR312- Autolysis -Human Decay. Loving it from the moment I hit play,"Let the Decay Begin"...is bold and energetic. The first release for Autolysis (a new project) but we the fans of course would never expect anything less from the mastermind behind this album because he also brings us Goregasm and Grotesque Fermentation you can check those out also on TFR.

Bold, this doesn’t even begin to describe the astounding density of sound that we get in this album. We get perfect blends of powerful bass and richness of heavily distorted guitar riffs, drum machine and vocals which consist of incomprehensible growls tones of rage, rich mid-tones with textural depths of darkness.

My favorite tracks on this album are Clotted Vaginal Secretions (Grotesque Fermentation Cover) and Clitoral Stimulation with an Oxidised Razor.

Autolysis’ covers are artfully blended and have achieved amazing results; perhaps even I think better than the original. This album is amazing from beginning to end.

I also loved the cover art by Torn Flesh Records.

For those not familiar with the creator behind Memorymoss, you may not fully understand or appreciate what it is that is presented here. Nate Wheeler is like none other and we the fans of his other work, PiGSHiT, which is a more brutal, filthy, fun and humorous venture, can expect nothing less than a masterful blend of Nate’s complex and mysterious mind (if you’ve never had the privilege of chatting with him you’d probably wouldn’t understand).

Ummm…okay where was I, yes… Memorymoss - ATTACK WITH SPELL, is most unique and it’s going to be like nothing you’ve experience before, but it is solid in structure and will be enjoyed by the most picky of noise connoisseur or enthusiasts.

Noise can be very confusing. People who are new to the world of noise often have difficulty figuring out exactly what the fuck they are listening to. This is because noise is an emotional experience from the artist. To fully understand noise you must basically allow yourself freedom to let go your own point of view, you need to understand that it’s all different. Stop being a FUCKING DIVA.

I can’t write or explain in words what the fuck I’m listening to when I listen to this album, but I like it and feels beautiful. So, if you’re new to noise or this style of music let yourself go, and experience the spores as they take you over.

You will not be disappointed with this album that’s for sure.

Elephantknuckle…is like when alcohol hit your frontal lobes(of your brain) and the buffer to your mouth is gone. Brutal, harsh, chaotic even fun and meant for you. Yes you!

Ek is well known for the expression of truth by a somewhat borderline personality disordered individual, I think ek is fucking NUTS (haha lets hope ek doesn’t read this) and lacks empathy. The result of this craziness is meticulous strategy that produces music of incredible quality and the inky lyrics that serves up a complex expression and mockery of today’s social issues suited for everyday enjoyment…just a leisurely, pleasurable experience that includes enormous amount of fun and satire.

Ek was my first experience to the underground world and 3 years later, and my #1 love I can’t explain why I love this shit so much, but I do. The chaotic ek from the beginning to now is like a fine wine (well maybe more like a low-end fortified wine like Cisco or MadDog…haha) gets better with age.

Sadly Bubbles McGee was killed…I hope she was able to find her baby’s daddy…again I ramble off topic.

TFR just released Hedon Cries - The End of the Path Is Nigh and I was reading an article on Bile Duct Obstructions (I know how to have a fun on a Saturday night)…haha and well I stop reading to listen.

Thick, smooth, harmonious, exquisite, and I love it!!!

I have been looking for an album like this for a while. I was drawn to the sorrow and pain of this album and it has to be one of my newest favorites. I couldn't get enough. Intimate and I found it to be quite impressive creating a lasting impression, even playing with my own emotions from past memories.

Lyrics are beautiful growling tones of rage, hurt, the music is also perfectly balanced. Heavy guitar and bass riffs delivers a whole new experience of pleasure and adventure in melodic death metal. A tightly-wound album with power and finesse, its intricate structure is extraordinarily balanced, while amazingly rich and builds in intensity.

Simply amazing!

One day a random message came to me from a stranger “check this out tell me what you think” it said. They sent me “Angel of Sin” I replied back, Please send me more!!!!

I have been a fan ever since and I was happy to see them release their album on Torn Flesh Records.

The vocals are amazing the music and lyrics are brilliantly done. Love that tracks are long…a blend of ambient to avant garde music that is aggressive, romantic with a razor sharp edge, artistic and so very complex.

Perfect for a stormy rainy night lots of candles and a bottle of Pinot noir. Enjoy!!!

LIL & MOONROOM - BAD SCENE

What makes LIL & MOONROOM unique? Or should I say why I love them so much…what I take away from listening to this album is that every idea that they present makes the listener's experience as exhilarating as possible. I don’t think it’s meant to be complex. It quite simple, romantic even, but by complex, what I mean, is that it’s an experience, a force, that compels you to return to take another listen.

To fully understand complexity in this album, you need to try a range of different types of ambient/noise albums. It takes an artist that thinks outside the lines to create something that would leave me at a loss for words, all the components work well and complement each other. I think this album is overlooked. It is stunning and has a real elegance and poise.

You will never go wrong with this album’s storytelling, humor, samples, truth, sadness…it’s all there.

and….Who is this Jeremy “scary motherfucker” they speak about…again I drift off topic “Space Cadet” mode…haha.

Well I hope you enjoy this album as much as I do.

James Doesn't Exist - Don't Be A Menace

Others may use the mathcore style ... but don't be fooled….James Doesn't Exist…does it like no other. There are no words to describe exactly its nature but that it reflects the strong characteristic of unusual time signatures, speed and guitar riffs and Nikolai Gawin’s passion for the extraordinary style.

James Doesn't Exist - Don't Be A Menace tells the tale of the quality evolution both in music and lyrics, vocals reflect a sincere, honest personality in a powerful style, direct but quite seductive.

Makes me wonder about this enclosed space in Illinois where this talented person sat creating such a complex experience…but I digress.  

I suggest playing this many times so, you will hear the complexity and appreciate all its elements. There’s a lot packed into these short powerful tracks.

GoreSkinCoffin - Corpse Filled Caskets

Wow!!! I had no idea what I was in for when Eric of Blasphemation suggested that I check out GoreSkinCoffin, just released on Torn Flesh Records.

Amazing!!! GoreSkinCoffin delivers a very dense and powerful, concentration of death metal vocals and guttural roars that are unbelievable, the tracks are structured beautifully, at times sensuous and seductive but with a sinful power all the way through.

This album’s long and heavy tracks are dense making it unmistakably a fucking awesome death, grind, melodic, brutal metal. Many others bands will simply look dull in comparison, but I feel that GoreSkinCoffin - Corpse Filled Caskets will be enjoyed by even the most picky melodeath fanatic.

My favorites tracks on this album are Ink in the Flesh, Dominion and The Coffin.

After months of nagging Gore Obsessed for a new album (yes, I can be annoying that way…haha)

Justin has delivered another amazing album. Gore Obsessed is strong out of the gate with absurdly entertaining samples followed by some deep growling vocals, a wide range of accelerated drum beats, intense bass and guitar work that continues through the whole album. These tracks are done just right with the consistent quality that we the fans can count on from Gore Obsessed.

My favorite tracks on this album are Meet Rocky de Sade (The Sexual Deviant) and I'm a Necrophile

This album is a perfect addition to any play list for your daily grind whether running on the treadmill, driving to a funeral or just plain lounging around.
